The Bald Eagle is a North American bird of prey. We mostly recognize the eagle as our national bird and a symbol of the United States of America.

The Native Americans believe that the eagle is a sacred messenger who carries prayers to the Creator. The eagle then returns with gifts and visions for the Native American people. Eagles are viewed as extremely patient.
